As I pushed thrugh the glass door all the bags cried out “Take Me, Take Me”!!! The rainbow effect really does something to our nerves. I wished I could wait longer to watch the effect of colors. But the hanging price tags reminded me they were way out of my budget. I felt really small in the glitzy glamour of the shopping mall.
A plate of Loni dosa and a glass of nimbu sharbat cheered me back into action. Well, something I could buy without a second thought.
A stroll along the FC Road and I loved a pair of sandal. I also bargained on a beautiful bag in Honkong lane. I got two things within my budget. Coming back home and reflecting on the day, I wondered if I had few extra grants I could pick up something from the mall. Does it really matter?, I asked myself. For a pair of Nike shoes, it definitely does. But the 6 months oral warranty on the 200 bucks sandal was more than I asked for!! A throught crossed my mind at that moment left me smiling. ‘Because I had less today, I have secured someone’s living rather than adding to someone’s profit’.
