Haide is a total package of excellent acting, smart direction, brilliant adaptation of Hamlet and stunning cinematography.
It's a story of a boy - Haider (Shahid) who is searching for his missing beloved father and the anger he feels when he finds his beautiful mother Ghazala (Tabu) inclined towards his uncle - Khurram (Kay Kay Menon). Yet Gazala's love for Haider triggers utter confusion in Haider, when Roohdar (Irrfan) showers some knowledge about his father's whereabouts.
As the snow filled Kashmir burns in the red hot fire with all its political conflicts and the violent dilemma.
Haider is Kashmir personified in a Man. The eyes gleam with hatred, anguish and confusion on his beautiful face.
Shahid has done total justice to Haider, so has been done by Tabu in the role of gorgeous Ghazala, Kay Kay excels the role of villain and Irrfan as a messenger.
And yet there is a twist to give you the last adrenalin rush... If you have not seen it yet - you still have a chance to catch it on big screen.

Whats Others have to say about Haider:
Arpita Mishra : Vishal Bhardwaj's Indian twist to Hamlet is simple to follow. Excellent direction, very nice dialogues and some very good acting. The movie left me shell shocked and thinking about Kashmir. Some problems are beyond any resolution. To see or not to see? That isn't a question at all.
Sharvari Shinde : " Dil ki agar sunoon toh hai,
Dimaag ki toh hai nahi.
Jaan loon ke jaan do?
Main rahoon ke main nahi?"
Haider! This is how amazing Indian cinema can get. I've fallen in love with Vishal Bharadwaj's Shakespeare again. The rotten state of Denmark adapted in the vibrant state of Kashmir. Visual treat, dialogue taste and emotions drive- it's a ten on ten

Preeti Ojha : HAIDER is a treat to all fans of shahid n shraddha. The picturization of the entire concept is exceptional and performance of the entire star cast beautifully complements it. Obviously, stories have to be framed to present any concept. But usually, film makers do a lot of articulation, manipulation and exaggeration to present even the simplest of the themes. HAIDER is exactly what happens in cross-border terrorism. Its just a mere feeling of revenge which starts from one end, and devastates everything that comes in its way of seeking it. Well, such movies always give the indian film industry a reason stand ahead of its international counterparts.
